Everyone is laughing at Karl Denninger again

... as his pet stock BBRY crashes.  Under $8 now!  A 5-handle is calling ...

BBRY OMG LOL

Meanwhile, Karl still carries on like this, preening himself and pretending the world can be "fixed".

If YOU are not willing to do whatever must be done to stop this in the current time frame then you are a monster, you are "invested" in fraud, you are consigning your children to privation and you are destroying not only your future (unless you're older than 75 you're nearly-certain to get what's coming to us all) but theirs as well.
YOU.
Not someone else, YOU.

Pace Karl Marx, the point is not to change the world, but to understand it first, and change yourself.  All that Karl Denninger's nauseating Boomer idealism gets us is angry, fed-up, and ultimately ignorant readers.

Meanwhile Karl signs up new idiots to buy BlackBerry and hold it to zero.  Well done, sir!
That could have a rather-interesting impact on those who are short the company's stock...
Yeah, they just made about 10% since Karl wrote that!  No "golden cross" for you!

Thanks for the laughs.  Buy that dip.

Wait a second -- why is Karl still blogging?  How many tantrums and pious exits does he get?  Shut it down ... put it in the oven ... Shut. It. Down.

BBRY Death-cross imminent

Market up 1% Friday, BBRY down nearly 2%.

This one is about to die.

Karl S. Denninger, future owner of BBRY.PK

So have some fun at Karl's expense.

And the chart.  You might object, noting that BBRY had a death cross roughly a year ago.  She survived that swoon, but she has now lost the channel from that recovery.

Bye-bye BBRY.

BBRY

Disclosure: I've never traded BBRY or any derivatives thereof.  I only play index options and volatility ETFs.

Edit -- more fun, try your hand at this.

Will BBRY survive 2015? Probably not ...

BlackBerry is approaching another death cross on her chart.  It looks like it's about time to wind this company down and sell the toner and the remaining sealed, unopened cans of keyboard de-duster.

BBRY 3Y

David Stockman and the ZeroHedge bear chorus are getting all excited lately with crash warnings or other violence on the indices.  I don't see why the current move can't last another week, dragging on toward the end of March.  Plenty of wiggle room on the chart, and we still need that touch of the upper daily and weekly Bollinger Bands.

Charts 09-20: October New Moon the next candidate top

RSI on the SPX peaked with the awesome FOMC spike this week, so much so as to suggest it was the end of a wave 3, not a 5.

Diligent Elliotticians should then find the current channel and figure out where we are within it.  I would argue that we completed the (a) wave of the 4th wave correction of the W3, with (b) set for Monday, and further selling-off on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Monday's rally off Merkel's re-election should not set a new high on SPX.  It should be contained around the 1720 area, allowing for (c) of 4 to take us just below 1700, or mid-session Wednesday according to the channel as drawn.  Late this week we will have Durables and GDP, should be exciting.

A top into the SPX 1751 area would make for a decent-sized 5th wave here, about 1.618x the wave 1 from 1628.  Maybe it will even unfold as an ending diagonal, confirming our expectations of it.

SPX 09-20

BBRY may be a zero by year-end.

BBRY 6M

To my knowledge, Karl Denninger is not a registered financial advisor in the State of Florida.  If he has mislead you with his advocacy for BBRY or other benighted stocks, whether with your own or someone else's money (greets, Asimov), I am providing the link to report an Investor Complaint to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for your convenience.

One more thing, I think Fred Reed's piece over at Taki's Magazine is important and should be read widely.  If you're new to Taki, whom I discovered in The American Spectator, geez, a couple of decades ago, then stick around and enjoy the rest of the site.

Good luck this week!
